• What I like about System A's pieces are that they seem to flow so naturally that it's almost not like porn at all. It's just two girls having sex because they like each other, period. In this case, after the surprise kiss of the title (which takes place in the middle of gym class), the two girls walk home together after school and Mai attempts to convince Aya that they're the same (girls who like other girls) and that they should explore this in a physical manner. As it turns out, once the initial hesitations and protests are out of the way, it doesn't take much convincing and they're all over each other in an empty alley. The sex progresses in a very normal way and both the girls clearly like and enjoy each other. There's basically no coercion and all the sex is had in a cheerful and lighthearted spirit. There's a kind of innocence in the way they go about it, completely shameless (and correctly so) in spite of making love in a public place. It's a fun story, as with all of System A's that I've read. Definitely recommended.
